How to take care of Plumeria
The pomelia is a tropical plant, famous for its colored and perfumed flowers. It's a succulent shrub with pulpy trunk at first, becoming woody with the passing of time; deciduous leaves, and it doesn't need so much care. It's both an indoor and an outdoor plant.
Light
It prefers direct sunlight; it can stay in full sun.
Temperature
it resists very high summer temperatures. It doesn't tolerate frosts and below-freezing temperatures. It is advisable to place the pomelia indoor in winter. Outdoor placement is suggested only in temperate climate.
Life cycle
The pomelia naturally loses its leaves in winter and it doesn't need waterings. In spring it grows, and in summer blooms.

Vulnerability
In case of red spider or aphids, treat with specific products.
Irrigation
Water when soil is dry, by avoiding the water stagnation. Suspend watering in winter.
Fertilization
Fertilize in spring period with balanced liquid fertilizer ( 20- 20- 20-) and, in summer, with a high P and K fertilizer.
